Director, Pharmacy Services, Primary Plus
Blair Lykins completed her Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters in Business Administration at the University of Kentucky in 2015. Soon after she began practicing at PrimaryPlus, a chain of Federally Qualified Health Centers in a rural area of Kentucky. In her career, she has been charged with incorporating clinical activities into the community pharmacies. PrimaryPlus has since successfully established several successful pharmacy embedded programs, such as immunization administration, medication therapy management, remote patient monitoring, and compliance packaging.
Blair has a passion for education, whether that be teaching patients about their disease state or training technicians to work at the top of their license. She became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2019 and has recently been appointed by the Governor to serve as the pharmacist representative on the Kentucky Board of Licensed Diabetes Educators. She serves as a trainer for APhA’s technician immunization program and performed some of the first trainings in the state, expanding patient access to immunizations.
