Bethany Boggess Alcauter has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. She is also a PhD candidate in Occupational Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and is a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) trainee. She has ten years’ experience in the public health field, including working as a community health educator, conducting occupational health and safety field research, monitoring organizational activities for impact measurement, and educating and training immigrant workers on health and safety topics. She also has experience in conducting outreach in immigrant communities and has worked on farms and with agricultural business employers and employees.
