Dr. Ashley Breazeale is a Licensed Psychologist at Cherokee Health Systems. She has been with Cherokee since 2019 and has worked as a Behavioral Health Consultant in several family practices and pediatric primary care clinics across the organization. Dr. Breazeale provides supervision for master and doctoral level students within the organization. She is currently the Behavioral Health Lead at the Cherokee Mills clinic that focuses on continuity of care prenatal through postnatal, serving mothers and children in the same clinic. She is the co-creator of the NUTURE model of care, a practice based integrated care model. This wholistic model emphasizes providing comprehensive care from both medical and behavioral health providers across the life span. Dr. Breazeale completed her PhD at the University of Memphis where she specialized in pediatric psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology. Her clinical and research interest include, social determinants of health impacting access to equitable care, program development within integrated primary care, 4th trimester care, and neuropsychology.
