Director, Health Center Operations and Human Resources Training, NACHC

April Lewis is the Director of Health Center Operations & HR Training for NACHC’s Training and Technical Assistance Department. Her responsibilities include the development and delivery of operations and HR training, Health Information Technology, and Emergency Preparedness resources. April previously served as COO of Community Integrated Management Services, an IPA of 14 FQHCs and partner-managed care organizations in South Carolina. Prior to the IPA, she was a Program Coordinator for the South Carolina PCA, where she provided training and technical assistance to FQHCs. She began her work in community health at the Richland Primary Health Care Association, a former FQHC based in Columbia, SC. April is an Army veteran and native of Mobile, Alabama.
