Annie Kolarik MD

Dr. Kolarik a primary care physician at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville Tennessee, and also serves as the Director of LGBT+ Services for the system. She is a born-and-raised East Tennessean. She received her MD from the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at the UT graduate school of medicine in Knoxville. She is passionate about training the next generation of primary care physicians and holds faculty appointments at UT, ETSU, and Meharry. Dr. Kolarik practices full-spectrum primary care and cares for people of all ages and in all stages of life. She has been proud to grow the LGBT+ services available at CHS and has particular interest in the primary and gender-affirming care of transgender and gender diverse individuals. In her free time, Dr. Kolarik enjoys singing in an all-physician rock band, playing board games with her husband, and spoiling her dogs.
