Anne Kauffman Nolon, MPH is the Chief Executive Officer of Sun River Health – a system of 46 federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) across the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island with over 1,800 employees who serve more than 250,000 patients annually.
Anne has served as CEO since 1977, just a few years after the founding of the organization in Peekskill, New York by four African American women whose commitment, vision, and passion have guided her throughout her entire career.
Anne is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), and over her career has served in leadership of Health Policy, Legislative, Homeless, and Agricultural Worker committees. She serves as an emeritus member on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Farmworker Health after nine years of active Board membership, including four years as Chair. She was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Health as a member of the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health.
