Andrea Buckley

Andrea Buckley received her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2007. After beginning her career as insurance defense counsel, Andrea joined Iowa Legal Aid to represent the most vulnerable Iowans. She currently directs Iowa Legal Aid’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic where she helps low income Iowans navigate tax problems. Andrea has been a consumer board member with Siouxland Community Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa since 2013. She has served as Board Chair since 2020 and previously chaired the HR and Quality committees. She has a passion for clear goals and implementing strategic visions. Formerly known as The Annihilatrix, Andrea is a retired roller derby player, a current Girl Scout leader, and a professional National Anthem singer.
