Amy Behnke
Chief Executive Officer, Health Center Association of Nebraska
Amy Behnke has had the honor of serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN). As CEO, Amy drives systemic change through advocacy, education, and the development and implementation of statewide programs that address the clinical and social factors that influence health.
Prior to joining HCAN, Amy was a partner at Brashear LLP, following her service as legal counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature. She also served as chief lobbyist for Voices for Children in Nebraska and is a former Legal Aid attorney.
Amy serves as a member on several statewide boards and committees and currently serves as the Chair of the NACHC PCA Leadership Committee and Chair of NACHC’s Bylaws Committee.
Amy received her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
