Amanda Heidemann MD, FAAFP

Dr. Amanda Heidemann is a board-certified clinical informaticist and family physician. Initially practicing in an underserved area, she was intrigued by the idea of using technology to help deliver high-quality medical services. As a consultant and interim Chief Medical Information Officer, Dr. Heidemann works with community health centers and other primary care organizations seeking clinical transformation and optimization of technology solutions. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she received her M.D. degree from Washington University School of Medicine, completed residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, and served as Chief Resident. She was among the first cohort of physicians to be Board Certified in Clinical Informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Heidemann currently practices in St. Louis, Missouri.
