Dr. Alek Sripipatana serves as the Director for Data and Evaluation at the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Primary Health Care in the Office of Quality Improvement. His functional unit oversees the primary data collection strategies on all HRSA-supported health centers across the country, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands, including their analyses and dissemination. Prior to joining HRSA, Alek was Assistant Director of the UCLA-Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and Project Director for the UCLA Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on the intersections of care delivery in the healthcare safety net, patient satisfaction, and health equity. Alek completed his PhD from the UCLA School of Public Health and is a former W. K. Kellogg Fellow in Health Policy Research.
